It had been a couple of days since she had met Cross, and he was still on her mind. It probably had more to do with the stupid mind games the two had played, than actually her liking him, but she hadn't liked how things had ended. One kiss, one really hot kiss, but one kiss and he had left. He still had promised her drink for running into her and she hadn't actually been to the club she had been hearing so much about. This would kill two birds with one stone. She could collect her drink and check out 151. Amber stood in front of the mirror and looked at herself. She had on a short black leather tie-up dress and black stilettos. Her long legs were smooth and visible, while her hair was curled around her shoulders. She had kept her make-up light, except for the bright red lipsticks. She looked like a girl who just stepped off the cover of some fantasy romance novel. Not the sweet girl most took her for.
Amber took a cab to the club and was quickly allowed in. She knew how to play the game and played it well. Walking to the bar, it didn't take long for someone to offer to buy her a drink. Never being a girl to turn down someone else buying her a drink, she accepted. The two talked for a bit, while they finished their drinks. The guy in front of her was attractive, not the kind she wanted to go home with, but attractive enough to dance for a while with. Setting her drink down on the bar she walked to the dance floor and began to dance. The guy had followed her out there, which didn't surprise. After a couple of dances he whispered in her ear, 'Let's get out of here.' Amber smiled at him and nodded her head, "Sorry, but no darlin." She could see his eyes darken and she tried to take a step back, but his hands were holding tightly to her waist. "A girl doesn't wear that dress and not think about going home with someone." Her own eyes darkened in response to the insult, "Maybe not, but I didn't intend for it to be you." She knew it was the wrong thing to say before she did and that was confirmed when she felt his hands tighten on her. "You're coming with me whether you like it or not."

As usual Cross was at the club before it had even opened. Hope had spent the night in his apartment lastnight and the idea of her knowing where he lived now somewhat scared him. But he kept his thoughts together while he was at work. Hope as already stationed at the bar across the room, and for some odd reason he couldn't help but watch over her ninety percent of the time. Leaning against the far wall next to the dance floor, his arms crossed over his chest his bright blue eyes scanned the room for anything wrong. Suddenly his nostrils flared at the scent of a firmilar woman. Amber. A half smile went across his lips as he remembered the night over at her apartment, and then his mind trailed to Hope. Searching the dance floor for Amber, when he finally spotted her his eyes narrowed at the man trying to pull her off the dance floor. As far as he knew there wasn't anything going on between him and Amber but he wasn't going to let someone get treated like that in his club. Pushing himself away from the wall he pushed through the dance floor until he was standing in the mans way. "I do believe the young woman said no... Let her go before I break your fucking hands."

Amber was surprised when Cross appeared by her side. The relief quickly overtook the surprise as he told the guy to let go of her. She watched him look at Cross for a second before letting go. Messing with someone that you knew could take you versus a girl that you had your hands firmly wrapped around were different matters. He gave Cross another look, but didn't seem to move. Maybe he was stupid enough to think he could take him. Looking between the two she wondered how even the match would be, both were muscular and carried themselves with confidence. But something was off about the other guy, she trusted Cross because he had shown her he could, but even before that she had sensed something good in him. This guy made her back raise and proved he was an ass. "This isn't any of your business," the guy growled before he threw a punch. How she had missed being hit she didn't know, she hadn't even seen him throw it. Moving out of the way she stepped closer to Cross's side. She wanted to be as far away from the jerk as possible.

Side stepping away from the thrown punch, he stepped between Amber and this man. Well at the look in his eyes and the faded glow that seemed to try and hide itself he knew right then that this was no odinary man, he was a vampire and as old as he tried to seem like. Grabbing him by his shirt, he drew him in close and growl quietly in his ear so that only he could hear Cross' words. "I promise if you that if you don't leave right now. By the end of the night I am going to kill you." His words were as cold as a midwinter grave to the vampire who was trying to mingle with humans at the club. The man studied Cross for a few seconds before finally nodding and walking away. Amber's attacker didn't know weather Cross was a vampire or a lycan and knew by his tone that he would end up dead. Shifting on his heels he turned back toward Amber with a warm smile across his lips. "I guess your here for that drink." He asked her sweetly as his eyes trail down from her face to her outfit that was pretty revealing. Biting down on his lower lip he nodded, obviously liking what he seen. "You look good tonight, damn good."

Amber was relieved when Cross stepped between her and the guy. Seeing Cross pick up the guy she was glad he was on her side and not against her. She couldn't hear what was said, but the fact that the guy didn't try to continue the fight and just left showed it had an impact on him. She wondered if that was it or if the guy was just waiting outside for him. The smile on his face showed that the guy was gone for good and she could continue enjoying her night. Amber offered her own bright smile, both in appreciation and because she refused to let him ruin her night. Nodding her head, "Yeah, and because I kept hearing so much about this place I figured I better see if it lived up to all the hype." So far it had, excluding her brief encounter with the ass. "Thanks for running him off. I hate guys like that." She felt his eyes trail down her body, she loved the fact that she looked good and the attention it drew. The mile turned into a small smirk. "I've always been told I clean up good. I'm glad you like it." Just because she was the only child raised by a single father didn't mean she didn't learn to take care of herself. Her dad's girlfriends had been more than willing to help the adorable little girl learn to be a woman and she had learned the lessons well, maybe a little to well.

Nodding to her first sentence, he motioned toward the bar area before he started through the crowd of people on the dance floor. Leading the way toward the bar he listened to what Amber had to say and all he could do when she thanked him was shake his head. "There's no need to thank me, thats what I'm here for." Turning his gaze to her as they walked toward the bar a bright smile went across his lips. Hope was working tonight and he had still yet to know what was going on between them after she had stayed with him in his apartment the night before. "Guys like that are always causing problems around here." he told her casually as he pulled out a barstool for her to sit on.
Nodding as Amber said she had always cleaned up well a wide seductive grin went across his lips. "So.... You taking any strangers home tonight?" Pausing for a moment, he leaned closer to her and whispered into her ear. "Or just me?" he asked her in a rather serious tone. Hope and him hadn't gotten completely intaminte and he wasn't claimed by anyone so maybe continuing what Amber and himself had going on the other night would turn out to be a great time.

Amber followed him through the crowd avoiding the moving bodies and drunk guys. People were giving her looks after the scene, but nobody was saying anything and the guys weren't even trying to touch her. How much of that had to do with Cross leading her through the crowd and how much was not wanting to be part of a scene she didn't know, but it wasn't bothering her. Amber shrugged casually, it was what she was taught to do. "Guys like that cause problems everywhere. I attract my fair share of them." Maybe leading them on didn't help in the situation, but when she said no it meant no. Seeing him pull out the bar stool she hopped on. Her dress was short enough that when she crossed her legs it barely moved up.
Hearing his question she raised an eyebrow in amusement. If someone attracted her attention more than he did, she might go home with them. Seeing him lean closer her heart sped up a bit. She leaned closer to whisper in his own ear, "Are you going to make it worth my time if I bring you home?" The last time had left her wanting more, but she wasn't going to take him home if she couldn't have what she wanted. The question had her changing her thoughts from if she bringing someone home, to who she was bringing home.

His bright blue eyes fixed upon her bare legs as one crossed over the other when she sat down upon the barstool next to where he was standing. Turning slightly so that his back was facing the bar, he leaned against the counter letting his elbows rest casually behind him. His right hand hung loosely over her legs and just barely grazed her inner thigh as she whispered back he response. "It'll be worth every second." He whispered back seductively before taking ahold of her earlobe between his teeth and giving it a gentle tug. Hearing a males voice from behind him he turned somewhat to face him as the front of his body pressed against her side. Cross was as close to her as possible without having his arms around her at that point. He had liked the fact that he could toy with her mind but he also knew that he could only keep her hanging for so long before she'd catch on to him teasing instead of following through with whatever it was she wanted to do to him back in her apartment the other night.
The young man quickly decided that he was going to go back to Amber's apartment with her tonight if she wanted him to, and while they were at the bar he'd drive her crazy by touching and teasing her while they were infront of at least six hundred people. Resting his hand upon her inner thigh, his long fingers lingered between them as he started to speak to the bartender. "I'll take ten shots of Jack, and...." Turning his gaze back to Amber, a wide grin played across his face before he said another word. "The beautiful woman here can have whatever she likes."

She could feel her body temperature start to rise, as he touched her. If he wasn't coming back with her tonight she was either going to find someone who would or hurt him for teasing her. Not that she could actually hurt him, which only left the option of finding someone else. Her thoughts were cut off halfway as he whispered it would be worthwhile. If he came home with her, she still hadn't invited him... yet, she would spend every second she could making sure he touched her. She was distracted from saying anything by him playing with her earlobe. Feeling him turn around and press against her she finally replied. "I'm going home with someone tonight. I'd much rather it be you, than a stranger." She wouldn't tell him how much more she would rather it be him. The fact that all he had to do was touch her before her temperature raised. She had to get him out of her system, before she went crazy. While she doubted taking him home would get him completely out of her system, it would at least keep her from wandering what it would be like.
Amber glanced down at his hand on her thigh, before looking up at the bartender. Hearing him say she could have anything she wanted an eyebrow rose in question. "Anything I want," she purred looking at Cross. She slowly licked her lips before turning her attention back to the bartender. "A sex on the beach." She could tease as well. "To bad there's no beach around."

Cross' fingers lingered upon her inner thigh as he waitted for any kind of responce from her. The young man didn't bother tapping into her thoughts, cause he was pretty certain that he would be able to go home with her tonight. But when she finally explained that she 'was' going to bring someone home, his eyes turned toward the bartender as Amber finished her sentence. A wide grin went across his lips as she told him she would much rather it be him then a stranger. Nodding to her explanation, he fingers pressed further inbetween her thighs and slightly up her short skirt as he did. Feeling the warmth upon his fingers tips his mouth started to water at the idea of their bodys being tangled together. "I'd much rather it be me too." He whispered seductively.
Nodding as Amber asked if she could have anything she wanted he couldn't help but chuckle. Cross worked there and had the biggest tab in the place since he secretly owned the establishment. Hearing her request, he slowly arched his brow before leaned closer to her. Leaving his hand where it was inbetween her thighs and underneath her skirt, he let his moist lips glide across the skin of her cheek as he started to whisper into her ear again. "It'll be better then sex on the beach."

Amber bit her lip as she felt Cross's hand move further up her skirt. She wasn't sure how far she was willing to let him go. She wasn't a girl who backed down from situations, even when the odds weren't anywhere near in her favor. She almost wished she didn't have on the black thong that she did. But with his history of teasing her and leaving her wanting she was glad she did. His words had heart beating faster, she was already hot and the his looks were doing nothing to cool her off. Instead of answering him she gave her own playful grin in return. She hoped that meant he was coming back with her, if she had her way he was and he wanted to. She might have to hurt anyone who tried to stop them.
She closed her eyes as she felt his breath and lips on her cheeks. She could imagine those same lips trailing kisses down her neck. Hearing his words, she opened her eyes and looked at him. "Guess you're going to have to come home with me and prove it." It was tempting to get up right now and let him show how much better it was going to be. But she had ordered a drink and she was enjoying this little game they were playing. Later would be much more fun, but she would enjoy this for now. She had forgot he was working and wasn't sure what reminded her of it, but she pouted as she thought about it. It was one element she couldn't control and half of teasing was about having control yourself. "You're working," she stated simply. Her job had always been one of her boundaries and she didn't know if it was one of his.

Cross knew exactly what he was doing and wasn't bother by it at all. To everyone standing around him nothing seemed to be going on, but where his hand trailed to was a different story all together. He hadn't moved his hand or fingers around upon her inner thigh underneath her skirt for a few moments until his thumb slowly caressed the smooth skin underneath the fabric of her panties. A wide grin spread across his face as his finger felt what he figured he had been doing. Hearing her comment about him coming back to her house and proving it, he nodded his head finally letting her know that he was going to go home with her. Tapping the fingers of his free hand upon the surface of the counter he waitted patiently for Amber's drink to come before he picked it up and took a drink of it before handing it to her. "Good choice." He whispered seductively before hearing her comment about him working. Letting his finger slip underneath the fabric of her thong his touched the moist area of her body for a moment before finally removing his hand. "I can leave whenever I want." He told her casually as he hinted around about leaving at that very second.

Amber gasped as she felt his hands under her skirt. She managed to stop the small noise that she wanted to make as he moved his fingers. Seeing his nod she was glad he confirmed that he was coming back with her. She really didn't want to have to find someone else. Laughing as he took a sip of her drink she smiled. "I've always had good taste." As he handed her the drink she took a long sip and put the drink down as his fingers went under the thong. She bit on her bottom lip to keep herself from whimpering. The only truly bad thing about a super short skirt, she couldn't move without revealing where his hands were. As he moved his hand she picked up the drink and took another long drink, to cool herself off. She looked from the drink to him as he said he could go whenever. Forget the drink, it wasn't like she couldn't get another one later. "How about now?" she whispered into his ear before nibbling on his earlobe.

"I bet you have." He told her sweetly, as he responded to her having good taste. Wrapping his long fingers around the bottle of beer that the bartender had gotten for him he went to take a long drink from it before he felt Amber's breath upon his ear. Cross' body shuddered in sheer delight as she started to nibble on his earlobe. Closing his eyes he stood ther silently for a few moments before nodding and taking another drink of his beer. Placing the bottle upon the counter he turn his body so it faced Amber's. Letting his hand fall between her soft silky thighs again, he motioned with his head toward the door. "Nows good." Releasing his grip upon her thigh, he gently took ahold of her hand and started for the door.

Amber grinned as he nodded toward the door. She put her drink on the counter and wrapped her hand in his larger one. The person she was with Cross was a different one than she was with everybody else. What made her change when around him. She was always the flirty tease who enjoyed mind games, but she didn't invite strange men to her apartment or leave with dates before she could finish the first drink. She let him lead her through the packed club.
Reaching the outside of the club she whispered in Cross's ear, "You do remember I don't have a car and walking isn't a good idea." She looked down at her shoes. She hoped he had some way to get there walking in these shoes would be way to painful.
